Magic mirror or photo booth: which suits your event?
How a magic mirror differs from an enclosed photo booth, and how to choose between them for a wedding, party or work event.
The short answer
A magic mirror is a full-length touch-screen mirror that stands out in the room. An enclosed booth is a cosy space with a curtain. Both take great photos and both come with prints, so the choice is really about the feel you want.
Why people choose the Magic Mirror
It's a centrepiece. Ours is framed in lights and set up on a red carpet with chrome rope barriers, so it looks the part in a ballroom, barn or marquee before anyone has taken a photo.
Full-length photos. Guests are photographed head to toe, so outfits, dresses and big groups all fit in.
It guides everyone through. Animations on the glass tell guests when to pose, and they tap the mirror to take their photos.
Why people choose the Oval booth
Privacy. Behind the curtain, people relax and get sillier, which is often where the best photos come from.
A smaller footprint, which can help in tighter rooms.
What's the same
Both are £75 an hour with a 3-hour minimum. Both come with a box of fun props, one print per photo session, digital copies of every photo and a free custom print design with your names, date, logo or theme. Unlimited Prints can be added to either.
